2/1/2020 11:26:59 PM
Vinod Chandrashekhar Dixit

While addressing the cadets from the NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) in New Delhi our PM Narendra Modi has said that no person or region must be left behind in "new India. Speaking to the young NCC and NSS cadets, PM Modi said they showcased a "mini India, new India" and represented the real India He urged the gathered cadets to keep debating about their duties towards the nation and set examples. Such efforts are what will lead to the creation of a new India.
The NCC takes upon itself to provide motivated leadership in all walks of life through interactive curriculum and activities like NCC Republic Day Camp. NCC is dedicated to fostering the spirit of adventure among the youth, but also inculcates social responsibilities and encourages cadets to contribute towards AIDS awareness, Cancer Awareness, Adult education, Anti Dowry, Anti Drugs, Organ Donation and Cleanliness programmes.
Their contributions towards social causes have been recognized. The nation is indeed very proud of you. The NCC, with its motto of EktaaurAnushasan (Unity and Discipline) has been providing our young people with opportunities for self-development and avenues to fulfil their potential for growth. In India, many youngsters are trained in line with defence in case the need arises.
If young students want to make it their career option, then being a NCC cadet holds a lot of weight. Days are gone when the students used to stick to their school books and notes to achieve high scores with having no exposure to the real world outside the books. Today, it has become very important for every student to get indulged into the extra curricular activities like NCC & NSS.
It came into force in 1948 with a view to impart the rudimentary skills and training in handling of weapons of different type, and make them physically tough such that they could face the hardship easily.
NCC works towards the empowerment of country’s youth engaging them into the constructive activities that keep them away from any negative forces. Youth is the major factor that determines the overall success rate of a nation. NCC works towards the empowerment of country’s youth engaging them into the constructive activities that keep them away from any negative forces which may drive the youth towards some acts like drug addiction, terrorism or robberies.
NCC is known for its discipline and unity. NCC is not a mechanism. NCC is a mission. NCC is not just anuniform or uniformity but it is unity in true sense of the word. NCC cadets learn to take pride in them and the training also strengthens the spirit of being an Indian. This helps them gear towards joining the forces and providing their 100% when the country is in need of them.
Today, NCC has completed more than 70 years. The journey of seven decades, and millions and millions of NCC cadets like me moved on the path of life by receiving the values of patriotism.N.C.C. camps play a vital role in national integration through interaction among different caste, creed and culture. With a view to giving a boost to the youth in the positive direction, NCC has been included in the course curriculum.
NCC is shaping the character and moral fibre of our young people, and ultimately the effectiveness and dynamism of the nation. NCC should continue with this hard work and achieve their dreams and goals with dedication and distinction.
