SUNDERBANI, Feb 11: Students of Government Degree College (GDC) Sunderbani under the banner of Akhil bharatiya vidhyarti parishad (ABVP) block Jammu Poonch highway for half hour & also took out a massive protest rally against administration for not fulfilling the genuine demand of students.
Students boycotted their classes and marched towards ADC Office and staged protest against local officials for not considering their demands. The protest was lead by the chairmanship of Vishal Sharma district convenor of ABVP. Vishal Sharma further said that "If construction work of college will not start in the few days the whole student of degree college Sunderbani will block Jammu Poonch highway again. While Akshey Prasher, Anil Sharma, Monu Sharma, Sloni Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Sunny Kumar & other students of the college was presented in this protest.
When contacted ADC Sunderbani Vinod kumar he said that he had already discussed this issue with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri regarding construction of college building issue, hopefully within few days we will resolve the issue of college students. |
