KISHTWAR, Feb 15: Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Dr Harmeet Singh Mehta today chaired largely attended Police Public meeting at Police Station Kishtwar which was attended by Chairman Kishtwar Municipal Counsel Raiz Ahmed Zarger, BDC Chairpersons, Councilors, Panchs, Sarpanchs, traders, prominent citizens and religious heads including Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar Farooq Ahmed Kichloo, President Santhan Dharam Sabha Kishtwar Hans Raj Bhutyal and officials of Kishtwar police.
The speakers laid stress for maintaining peace and communal harmony and assured full cooperation with the police and administration towards maintaining peace and communal harmony.
They speakers expressed concern over growing drug menace in Kishtwar District that had engulfed the teenager of Kishtwar and called for launching major creak down on the drug peddlers as well as the drug smugglers beside also raise concern over encroachment at public places including in by-lanes of Kishtwar town by the shopkeepers as well as Khoka Walas.
The speakers also called for major crackdown on traffic violators as well as called for maintaining proper record of the non-locals who are coming to Kishtwar District for business purpose or any other purpose.
At the end of the meeting, SSP Kishtwar appreciated the people for their participation in today's meeting and assured them that all the issues raised by the speakers will be looked into on top priority. |
