Entrepreneurship development programee commences at MAM college

Jammu, Feb 15: Six weekend entrepreneurship development Programme today commenced in Govt. MAM College Jammu.
The programme was organized by IQAC of Govt. MAM College Jammu in collaboration with Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Government of India, Meerut and Institute of Management and Finance Jammu.
The program was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) G.S Rakhwal and he emphasized on the need of such development programs which shall benefit the students for their self sustenance in future.
The welcome address was presented by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul (Head of the Department of Physics/ Coordinator IQAC). The invited resource person Prof. N.S Gupta, Retd. Prof. Head and Dean Faculty of Commerce and Management, University of Jammu who is the author of 25 books and National And International publication, deliberated on the various aspects of Industries/ Business and trade to equip the students to explore there areas and to establish their own enterprise.
A total of 30 students from Science and Physics participated in the programme. The students were amazed to interact with the 89 year young resource person. In the first session, Business, cashless Business, business orientation, books like men in asbestos, magic of thinking big etc. were discussed. In the second session, behavior correctness, shedding shyness, four type of person, SWOT analysis, positive personality attributes, share marketing etc. were discussed.
The students who participated are Anchal Singh, Bhavin Thakur, Vasu Dev Singh, Sachin Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Parul Sharma, Sandeep Kumar Sati, Shivang Bhardwaj, Rishab Sharma, Situu Devi, Rajni Devi, Leeza, Pallvi Jamwal, Palvi Sharma, Akash Malhotra, Rohit Kumar, Manjeet Singh Manhas, Rahul Andhotra, Imtiaz Ahmed, Anil Choudhary, Rahul Sandhu, Basant Kumar, Nishant Singh, Mukesh Singh, Jatinder Singh, Sahil Sharma, Sourav, Adil Hussain Shiv Kumar Shohaib.
The Programme was divided in to two session from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm with a break. Refreshment was served to the students. The principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) G.S Rakhwal appreciated the efforts of IQAC, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul for organizing such programs for the benefit of students. The DTP work was coordinated by Faiz Elahi (IQAC).
