| Sub-standard material used to construct Jamola to Kharsu Road | | |  Early times Report
Rajouri, Mar 13: The long pending demand of construction of Jamola Kharsu road was fulfilled after many decades but the low quality material used in its construction has raised many eyebrows. While local people and Panch Sarpanchs expressed strong anger that the pending demand for construction of the said road was met after many decades, but due to the neglect of the concerned department, the contractor is using very poor quality material on it. People expressed strong anger towards the department and the district administration and said that that the sand and other material being poured in the construction of the said road is of very poor quality. He said that even the people of the village do not put it under their animals, the fraudster is being openly done by concerned contractor by doing corruption by saving money. Angry people said that we plead that the work going on this road should be investigated, so that the truth can come out and strict action should be taken against the fraudster who is doing so much corruption. they said that every day hundreds of children go to school college using the said road and others go here and there for their work, besides patients also use this main road to reach hospitals but due to the low quality material being used in its construction, this road will not last long and it will spoil soon. When contacted EXn PWD Zuhair Chaudhary said that he will send a team to enquire the matter and any body found using low quality material will be taken to task. |
