| Plus-2 Forum hails Comm Secy School Education for framing Committee | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 13: An emergency meeting of All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum was held under the chairmanship of its President Deepak Sharma in which he hailed Commissioner Secretary School Education Hirdesh Kumar Singh for Constitution of a Committee to address Time Bound Promotion /Assured Career Progression and other issues concerning Plus-2 Lecturers community.
Deepak Sharma informed the house that Forum has been demanding Running Grade/Time Bound Promotion in favour of Plus-2 Lecturers since long but they have got only false promises in return by successive Govts. Forum thanked Commissioner Secretary School Education for giving practical shape to the assurance given on memorandum of demands submitted by the Forum Delegation on 10th of January 2020 and hoped that issue of worst type of stagnation in the cadre will be addressed soon by way of sanctioning of Time Bound promotion / Assured Career Progression in favour of +2 Lecturers (i.e from Level 9 /Grade Pay 5400 to Level 13/ Grade Pay 8700) on the analogy of their other Gazetted Counterparts in UT of J&K as they have to stagnate for about 20 long years in the same scale before being promoted as Principal with a meagre enhancement of Grade Pay of Rs 200 (i.e. from 5400 to 5600 in Pre Revised Scale). |
