JMC installs five more sanitizing tunnels in City

Jammu, Apr 11: In its endeavour to fight against Covid-19 pandemic, on the directions of Avny Lavasa, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation has successfully installed five more disinfectant tunnels at various locations in Jammu city.
The sanitizing tunnels have been installed at Govt. Chest Disease Hospital Bakshi Nagar Jammu, Govt., Hospital Sarwal, Govt. Psychiatric Disease Hospital, Yatri Bhawan and JMC Town Hall Complex, Jammu so as to provide protection to the doctors, paramedical staff and health care workers /employees engaged in emergency services to fight against Covid 19 pandemic. This will also help in minimizing the chances of further spread & control of corona virus among the community. In the days to come JMC will also install such tunnels on many other locations also where foot fall is quite high endangering further spread/transmission of the virus. Next target would be Red Zone area like, Bathindi naka opposite Wave Mall, Gorkhanagar, Narwal Mandi, Warehouse etc. Commissioner, JMC also appealed the general public at large to avoid major gatherings in public places and make use of alcohol band sanitizers and masks as preventive measure to do away with this menace and also to extend their full cooperation to Jammu Municipal Corporation so that corono virus can be stopped from spreading.
