Body of labourer reached home after intervention of DDC Poonch

Poonch, Apr 11: Dead body of resident of Poonch district, who died in Himachal Pradesh during this lockdown, reached at his native village after intervention of District Development Commissioner Poonch.
Sources told Early Times that the diseased was identified as Mohd Bashir son of Raj Mohd resident of village Bracher Tehsil Loran of District Poonch, who used to work as labourer in Himachal Pradesh but suddenly he died due to some illness but due to lockdown, it was difficult for the family members to get his body home.
“There was no transportation facility to bring the body of my brother, who died on April 8 in HP. But after lot of effort the HP Government sent the body in Jammu but here we didn’t get any help from government to take the body at home,” said his brother.
He further said that they contacted the DDC Poonch Rahul Yadav, he directed CMO Poonch to take up matter consequently administration helped the dead body to bring it in home. The family members of the diseased thanked the Administration for their timely help.
