NAUP demands regularization of NHM employees

Jammu, Apr 16: Expressing solidarity with staff engaged through NHM, National Awami United Party National President Sandeep Manhas urged the union govt to regularize them keeping in view service rendered by health workers While dealing with COVID-19.
While talking to media persons Manhas said that during this period of pandemic let all of us pray regularly for each and every health workers including doctors, nurses, medical staff etc. and wish them good health and well-being who are bravely leading the battle on frontline against the Cronavirus menace. Manhas further appealed to Central Government and Prime Minister of India and demanded that regularisation of all NHM employees. He further said National Health Mission contractual employees who are working together with the regular employees equally at the risk and threat to thier life from cronovirus in the health sector but till date the central government has not taken any step or framed any policy for the regularisation these NHM employees . Even government has not provided equal work equal pay benefits to them either at Central level or at State level. These employees are working in a same manner as regular employees works but they are not getting the similar salary and other benefits as an employee of regular basis gets. Number of times this issue has been raised by these employees but government at centre never paid any attention towards their genuine demands .
