Schools pressurize students to deposit school fee

Udhampur, Apr 16: Flouting norms some reputed private schools in Udhampur are pressurizing parents of students for deposit admission and tuition fee and also insisting them to purchase text books and uniforms from their particular shops immediately.
This development is noticed at a time when J&K government has ordered closure of all the educational institutions like Govt as well as private’s and start the online classes as a preventive measure to safeguard from dreaded Coronavirus infractions. "We are being send messages and phone calls by the school authorities to deposit admission and tuition fees and buy the uniforms and books soon," said some parents of children’s. Earlier some schools were sealed in Jammu provision for flouting norms and we want same action in Udhampur against them who violates the govt order , they added. However, the parents have urged the higher educational authorities and government to look into the matter as there is no prudence in buying books , uniforms and not forced for deposit tuition as well as admission fee till lockdown or till schools are closed. Meanwhile CEO Udhampur issued a circular on the dated 15-04-2020 and mention here that several of complaints has been received in this office against private institutions from the parents of the students studying in private schools and the matter has been take seriously for violating the orders of the higher authorities and especially instruct to all the heads of private’s institutions for stop these illegal practice otherwise strict action will be taken against violators , added in circular.
