Jammu, Apr 16: Former Minister and BJP State Vice President Sham Lal Sharma handed over cheque’s worth Rs 9,16,840 to District President Jagdish Raj Bhagat at Party Office Akhnoor.
Speaking on the occasion Sham Sharma said that the mankind is in distress due to the widespread infection by Coronavirus. “COVID-19 infection knows no boundaries of region, religion, community, ideology etc and hence we have to be together in this hour of crisis,” he said adding that in this time, countless people are facing hardships for the essential items like Ration, medicines etc. Central Government and State administration are taking all the necessary steps to meet the challenge of the hours and people must strengthen the hands of PM in meeting the requirements of needy population by donating liberally to the PM CARES Fund, Sharma added. Sham expressed gratitude to all the BJP leaders, activists especially the common masses who have come forward to donate for the noble cause and also appealed all the capable persons to take care of needy population in their vicinity. He claimed that BJP will continue its effort to generate more funds with increased force so as to further strengthen the efforts of Central government and State administration in war against Corona. He further said that people from all walks of life expressed their desire to donate to India’s war against COVID -19,” Sham Lal expressed his gratitude and thanks to the People who voluntarily contributed for PM care fund which will be utilized for the containment of Covid-19.
