Science and Religion

Conventional wisdom holds that religion and sciences stand in opposition – with religion oppressing science in the post and science undermining religion in modern times. Today many scientists and believers are wary of attempts either to reduce science to religion or religion to science, there is good reason to distrust those who seek to prove religions scriptures as sciences books. But the relationship is not simply antagonistic. Religious instructions have in many cases supported scientific inquiry. The rise of science depend in part on metaphysical beliefs with religious roots and arguably on certain religious virtues. Religious belief in turn has been enriched by scientific insights into the natural world and technological innovation has been essential to the spread of religious ideas.
There are various aspects to examine relationship between religion science and technology. Varadaraj. V. Raman suggested that ancient Hindu thought while not scientific in the modern sense, anticipated various recent scientific debates. From a scientific point of view their claims are untenable as the findings of modern science spring from observations, insights, instruments, philosophical outlooks and knowledge that were about in the ancient world. But the defenders of these claims cented that the philosophers of distant ages had other means of knowing them logic , differential equation and the speedometer that the scientific insights in scripture are a testament to their divine origin, Though perhaps well meaning , such claims essentially belong to pseudo science not least because they are typically based more on parochialism and questionable hermeneutics than on serious scholarship.
But this does not mean that the search for areas of genuine harmony between sciences and scriptures is always misguided. There is so solid evidence that ancient religious thinkers were privy to any revealed knowledge of scientific findings in advance of their peers.
But ancient thinkers did articulate many of the broad possibility for answer to major questions that have since been in a sense adjudicated by science. Many of the metaphysical, philosophical and scientific ideas that are so often trumpeted as entirely novel and recent discoveries of modern science where is fast subject of discussion by ancient Hindu thinkers.
Perhaps the most famous discovery of modern science the one that launched as a revolution , was the Copernican insight that shifted the earths co-ordinates for defining (0,0,0) in a vast three dimensional Euclidean space to an insignificant (x,y,z) in a co-ordinate system whose center is all together intermediate. Notwithstanding the considerable achievements of that science, whose methods soon expanded well beyond the realm of astronomy and physics.
Hinduism has its own idea of God-created Universe Hindu. Lore offers a mythic vision of the world emerging from a cosmic egg (Brahmanda), a seed from which the whole Universe emerged not unlike the idea of Big Bang. In a chapter written three millennia ago, the Author described the whole creation of cosmos and its rebirth(Rigveda).
Beyond the imagination the early days of modern science, scientists recognized two levels of reality : the physical world we experience on our everyday seek and the astronomical world up there, where every entity is of stupendous proportions.
As the scientific revolution advanced the ancient Hindu practices has been established with scientist facts. The modern science has in many ways substantiated the fact that the religion earlier has scientific approach. The practices right now followed or the religious Institution established in the era of least scientific developments has now proven the scientific credibility of the Hindu religion.
We may discuss various aspects of Hindu religion in our own way but the science has contributed the factual position of Hindu religion.
One aspect of scientific overbook will scientific reasons for visiting temple.
In ancient India saints and kings use to have temples built exactly according to Vedic math’s and the location should have the passing of the maximum Earth magnetic waves. The Scientists build to decode the Vedic calculation as Vedic calculation was very strong . The temples were the energy centers. The fundamental and purpose of science behind the temples was to attain the positive energies in themselves and to attain that state of mind which generally people even fail to understand. Most of the temples were focused to activate chakras in the human body which is the main energy system within the human body. The temples were strategically built at a place where the positive energies are available abundantly from the magnetic and electric wave distribution of North/South pole thrust. Idol is placed in the centre of the temple. Temples were built only after the idol were placed. The places were magnetic waves are maximum, the idol is placed there.
Most of the temples you find idol is placed above the copper plate. There is scientific reason behind that the copper plates absorb the Earths magnetic waves in abundance and radiate it to the surroundings.
The temple is the miniature cosmos comprised of the five elements and a presiding deity. The outgrowth of the deity which has its independent intelligence and from which energy is constantly redialing.
Essentially temples were designed to the spaces where the mind spontaneously moves within and mediation happens effortlessly. Every aspect of the temple from the architecture to the rituals to the kinds of worship offered has been consciously created to make this experience happen.
Ringing the bell before worshipping the main deity. These bells are made in such a way that when they produce a sound it creates a unity in the left and right parts of our brains. The moment we ring the bell, it produce a sharp and enduring sound which lasts for a minimum of 7 seconds in echo mode. The duration of echo in sufficient enough to activate all the healing centre’s of our body.
“We owe a lot to the Indians who taught us how to count without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made”.
