BJP J&K urges every household to download “Aarogya Setu” app

Jammu, Apr 17: “Aarogya Setu, a mobile app developed by the ministry of electronics and IT to help citizens identify their risk of contracting Covid-19 (coronavirus) has notched up more than 50 million downloads nationwide since its launch and it has got tremendous response by the people of Jammu and Kashmir as the inhabitants of Union Territory has shown its keen interest in downloading the app to know the real time update of COVID-19”, said BJP J&K Head IT & Social Media Jaidev Rajwal
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged all fellow citizens to download the “Aarogya Setu” app. Modi said that it is a fantastic use of technology to combat coronavirus and by leveraging technology, it provides important information. As more and more people use it, its effectiveness will increase”, BJP UT Head IT & Social Media added. Rajwal hailed the people of J&K for showing their utmost interest in getting all required information about corona by downloading the app in large magnitude and urged all fellow citizens of J&K to download the Aarogya Setu app to reap all useful information and keep themselves updated of this deadly virus which has claimed more than 1.25 lakh lives so far and infected more than 20 lakh people worldwide. He further informed that app is available in 11 languages on both Google Play (for Android phones) and Apple App Store (for ioS). Rajwal further stated that the entire country is spending whole time inside their homes due to lockdown and Aarogya Setu is a great tool to get the real time updates. “It has a tool for self-testing. The user is asked to answer a number of questions.
