Thermal Screening Drive Held in Ware House

Jammu, May 7 : On the directions of District Administration Jammu, Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market Jammu on Thursday has launched a drive to conduct Thermal Screening of all Labourers working in this Whole Sale Mandi.
Camp organized under the Supervision of Rattan Lal Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market. Around two thousand workers work in this market and thermal screening of 500 workers was done on the first day. During this, social distance was taken care of. According to the federation, none of the workers examined in the first phase of the camp have fever. According to General Secretary of Federation, Deepak Gupta, a large number of truck drivers and conductors from neighboring states are also coming to the market daily. Although these drivers and conductors are not allowed inside the mandi, but every precaution is being taken. Apart from this, buyers are also reaching here in different parts of the city. The Federation is taking every precautionary step in collaboration with the District Administration and Health Department to ensure that no worker or businessman gets infected. Workers, employees and traders are being checked from time to time and in this direction a thermal screening camp was organized on Thursday. According to Sh. Deepak Gupta, this camp will run for the next two-three days and if anyone is found to have fever during the screening, the administration and health department will be informed immediately. Gupta said that all this is being done in the interest of the employees, traders and the Jammu city, to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
Few days ago, the Health Department had also set up a corona screening camp in this mandi and checked about thirty people on random basis in which all reports were negative. Four sanitization tunnels have also been set up at the entry gates of Ware House and Nehru Market.
On This occasion, Sr. Vice. President Sh. Dheeraj Gupta, Vc. President Sh. Munish Mahajan, Secretary Sh. Abhimanyu Gupta and Cashier Sh. Vishal Gupta were also present.
