JAMMU, May 7: Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC donated for PM CARES Fund to fight against coronavirus pandemic, by handing over the cheque to J&K UT BJP President Ravinder Raina, former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and Sangathan Mantri Ashok Koul at BJP Headquarters here.
Raina appreciated the noble gesture shown by Purnima Sharma, being a Social Worker and also the Deputy Mayor of JMC and said that society is indebted to such noble acts, as the whole world is reeling under the pressure to combat ill effects of COVID-19 pandemic. He said that this contribution means a lot in this valuable time and requested others to follow the same suit.
Purnima said that trouble has erupted across the world due to corona spread and it is the duty of every person to pay back to the society. In these days, every capable person must contribute according to his or her strength, she added. She asserted that such contribution will strengthen the effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat the ill effects of corona Pandemic.
