Keep yourselves busy
5/12/2020 11:10:27 PM

The medical experts have advised people to remain busy with exercise and do positive things to over come the stress during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown.
Entire country has been in lockdown mode for more than 50-days and people have not been left with much to do. One can only stay safe by staying at home. The only thing which can stop COVID-19 virus from spreading is to prevent it from moving.
During the past few days number of the positive cases have been increasing at a rapid rate across the country. The spike in numbers has perturbed everyone but there is a sliver lining that recovery rate in India is much better than other countries. Even the death rate has not been that high.
Everyone is of the opinion that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a bold decision by announcing a lockdown early. His decision saved many lives and kept the numbers under check. Had he waited like other leaders managing the virus could have become a difficult task.
The lockdown has brought everything to a grinding halt but it has saved invaluable human lives. One can understand that people have been confined within the four walls of their homes but there was no other option. People, who are feeling stressed within their homes, should pay attention towards the advice of doctors to keep themselves busy for some more days.
Patience is the key and there is no other solution. Restrictions are being eased in a phased manner but the threat of virus is very much there and it has not gone still. Even if the things start moving life would not be the same as it used to be before the outbreak of COVID-19. The virus is there to stay for long at least till the vaccine comes into the market.
This pandemic has hit everyone very hard. Everyone has suffered. We have to extend a helping hand to each other to come out from the present crisis.
There have been reports that number of domestic violence cases have also increased during the lockdown and there have been other issues too.
At this point of time we need to pay heed towards the advice of the doctors and keep ourselves busy with something or other.
The lockdown has provided all of us with an opportunity to stay with our families.
