5/12/2020 11:10:55 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, May 12: Jammu & Kashmir Private Schools Association (JKPSA) has hailed the initiative of the government which has protected parents and school authorities’ in this critical juncture by allowing the schools to collect the tuition fee from students.
General Secretary of JKPSA, Ajay Gupta said that the step taken by the government will help to bring private schools out of financial deficit due to delay in fee collection.
He said that we welcome the decision informed by Principal Secretary School Education, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, who tweeted in the wee hours in which he has authorized the private schools to collect the tuition fee. In his tweet he has mentioned that most of private schools charge reasonable fees.
Above all to take action against the schools which fleece the kids, Dr Samoon also demanded a list of such schools from the parents, said Gupta.
President of the Association, Kamal Gupta appealed to all the private schools to charge fee on monthly basis without any enhancement.
He also urged the parents to deposit fee in the schools so that school authorities’ can pay emoluments to their staff without any delay to run their livelihood smoothly.
