| Degree College Marh organizes declamation, short film contest | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 8: Government Degree College, Marh organized an online inter- college declamation and short film contest on the topics ‘Threat to Biodiversity in today’s world’ and ‘Covid-19: The Unlock 1.0 w.e.f 4th of June to 7th of June, 2020’.
Students were to submit write-ups on Google Link and Short Films and Audio/Video messages on the Whats app and College Email Id. The Purpose of the Competition was to highlight the importance of maintaining the environment and adopting social norms in view of Covid-19 pandemic. In total 69 Write-up’s and 43 Audio/Videos were received from various colleges of Jammu Province
Deepika Rani from GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Radhika Mehta from GCW, Parade and Sakshi Saini from School of Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu secured First, Second and Third Position respectively. The Short Film Contest was won by Sachin from GDC, Marh, where as Second and Third Positions were secured by Abhinandan Dheiman from Govt. M.A.M PG College, Jammu and Priya Sharma from GCW, Gandhi Nagar Jammu respectively.
