GDC Kathua organizes Online Quiz competition on “IR, NMR, UV Spectroscopy”

JAMMU, June 8: An online Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition on the topic “IR, NMR, UV Spectroscopy” was organized by Department of Chemistry, GDC, Kathua as a part of series of series of quiz competitions to familiarize and prepare students of Semester 6th for the forthcoming examination based on MCQ pattern adopted by University of Jammu as per the directions of UGC and HRD Ministry
Prof Rakesh Singh Organizing Secretary of the Online quiz competition told that large number of students from GCW Parade, GCW Udhampur, GDC Kishtwar, GDC Doda, GDC Ramnagar, GDC Udhampur, GDC Billawer, GDC Hiranagar, GCW Kathua, GDC Akhnoor, GDC Poonch, GDC RS Pura, GGM Science College, Jammu, GDC Surankot, GDC Mendhar, GDC Bhaderwah, GDC Nowshera, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra and GDC Kathua participated in the quiz competition. This was 2nd quiz competition in the series of quizzes being organized for Semester Sixth students so as prepare them for forthcoming examination.
The quiz was organized under overall supervision and Guidance of Prof Asha Ram Sharma, Principal of the college and Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia HOD, Chemistry.
Archna Sharma and Ivleen kour of GDC, Kathua secured 100% and stood first. , Payal Kumari of GCW Parade, Roshan Bandral , Sunidhi Sharma and Damini Jasrotia of GDC, Kathua secured 94% and stood 2nd. Mohd. Anis wani of GDC, Bhadarwah, Sachin Chaudhary of GDC, R.S. Pura secured 88% and stoof 3rd. Shubham Sharma, Marvi Gotra , Shalu Sharma, Damini Pathania, Sakshi Sharma, Navneet Kour , Snigdha Sharma , Ajay Sharma , Seema Devi of GDC, kathua and Harshita Vyas of GCW Kathua secured 83% and stood 4th.
