MENDHAR, June 8: Water hand Pump of main Chowk Bufliaz in Surankote area is lying defunct for the last one month but the concerned department is pathetic andv people are crying for drinking water.
People alleged that the Main Chowk Bufliaz hand pump had gone dry for the past one Month as a result of which the villagers are virtually left with no other source and are facing acute shortage of drinking water.
They said that since the hand pump was lying defunct no other arrangement of drinking water supply was made in the village by the government and gullible people have been left at the mercy of god in the hit days of summer. |
