24 fresh positive cases, 442 active positive cases, 09 recovered and 19 deaths occurred so far in north Kashmir

BANDIPORA, June 19: Out of 125, twenty four fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 442 active positive cases, 1248 are cumulative, 09 recovered and 19 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir till date.
According to the district wise positive cases as on June 19, 2020 (Friday), In Baramulla district, ten fresh positive cases including 01 traveller and 09 others were reported today, total no of cumulative cases are 562, active positive cases are 282, and 04 have recovered as on date and 13 deaths have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 07 fresh positive cases have been reported today, 428 are cumulative cases, 110 are active positive cases, 03 have recovered as on date, and 05 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 07 fresh positive cases were reported today, whereas 258 are cumulative cases, 50 are active positive, 02 have recovered as on date and 01 death have occurred so far.
Meanwhile there are reports from Kupwara district, where the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the pace and progress of developmental works executed in Model Villages under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) in the district.
It was informed in the meeting that the developmental works under BADP scheme have been already taken up at a cost of Rs.32 crore in various model villages of Border areas, which include Nawagabra, Hajitera, Taad, Machill, Kunan Poshpora Hanjipora and Mundian Patroo.
It was informed that an expenditure of Rs.10 crore has been registered for the work done so far under the scheme.
On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned officers to submit the work done report within 2 days, so that the same could be taken up with higher authorities for further required action.
