JAMMU. June 26: Gujjar-Bakkarwals represent a nationalist community who has given sacrifices at every single moment to safeguard the motherland. Be it proxy or the real wars, the community has been always on the forefront for saving India, said Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP President. BJP ST Morcha held a meeting was through virtual digital mode under the Chairmanship of Ravinder Raina BJP President. Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli (former Minister) and Choudhary Haroon President BJP’s ST Morcha also addressed the meeting held at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Vice-President BJP J&K UT Mukhtar, General Secretaries ST Morcha Mohd Shafi & Roshan Choudhary, Chief Spokesperson ST Morcha Er Mohd Irfan Chowdhary, Youth President Riaz, Anwar Choudhary Saleem District President BJP Bandipora, Farid Ahmed, Samba District President BJP ST Morcha Saleem Choudhary and Mushtaq Inqulabi and Lal Din Team ST Morcha also participated in the meeting by virtual mode.
Ravinder Raina assured the party workers for taking steps for the implementation of Forest Act in J&K as was implemented in the neighbouring States/UTs as this issue was discussed in the meeting by the party workers. It was also discussed and assured in the meeting by the UT President that reservations will be made on Assembly level also like reservations given in Panchayats and Blocks. It was also discussed and assured in the meeting that Gujjar and Bakerwal community are nationalists like Dogra Regiment we will ensure Gujjar Regiment in UT of J&K in consideration of patriotism of Gujjar community in J&K. In the meeting it was also discussed that the Centre has already passed Bill for enhancement of seasonal teacher from Rs 4000 to Rs 20000 and assured to implement the same at the earliest in J&K UT. Abdul Ghani Kohli threw light upon the achievements of Modi government and provided information on every single scheme launched by BJP Government in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
