Jammu, July 11: An online national level quiz competition on the occasion of World Population Day was organised by the department of botany of Govt. Degree College Ramnagar. There was overwhelming response and more than 240 participants from various Colleges and Universities of UT of J&K and outside the UT of J&K including JNU, DU, LPU, Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, QSEM Academy, Bareilly College, B. C. Roy Engineering College Durgapur and IGNOU were registered and participated. The event was organized by Prof. Sushil Kumar, HOD and Convener (Convener), Prof. Swarn Singh, Prof. Ram Krishan, (Organising Secretary) from department of botany and Prof. Shiv Kumar, Assistant Professor from department of business administration under the noble guidance of Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Principal, Govt. Degree College Ramnagar.
During the event, e-certificates were also distributed to the participants who secured more than 60% marks in the online quiz competition. Arvind Kumar from GDC Poonch and Tariq Jhangir from Govt. MAM PG College Jammu have secured top position, Misbah Kamlaaak from GDC Poonch bagged 2nd Position. Sakshi from GDC Ramnagar; Sourav Bhagat, Mansi, Teevr and Rishu Kumari from GDC RS Pura; and Chakshu Sharma from GDC Jindrah shared 3rd Position in the Quiz competition. More than 65 students got e-certificate during the quiz competition. |
