EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, July 11: The Bhartiya Janta Party leaders of Jammu and Kashmir UT have allegedly been seen literally violating social distancing norms during COVID-19 pandemic every other day. It looks that violating COVID guidelines during this crucial period of the pandemic has become normal for BJP leaders.
In yet another incident of blatant violation, the today leaders of BJP leaders and workers took out a march to pay tributes to its leaders from Kashmir, who was killed along with his family members in militant attack recently. The programme was organized by BJYM wherein Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, Deputy Mayor JMC Purnima Sharma, Vice President Yudhvir Sethi, District President Vinay Gupta, BJYM Prabhari Ajay Pargal, BJYM Seh Prabhari Ajay Vaid were also present. Open violation of social distancing was made by the leaders and their workers, who were standing close to each other during the tribute ceremony just for the sake of media publicity although this function could be held at its party headquarter office in a simple way. Despite the fact that there is a total ban on creating gatherings in view of the Corona but BJP leaders were initially gathered at Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Chowk and from there they started a march which ended at Maharaja Hari Singh Statue on Tawi Bridge wherein hundreds of workers paid homage to the departed souls.
This is not the first time that BJP has violated COVID-19 guidelines but they are deliberately doing it due to BJP being power at center as well as in JKUT also but shockingly they are being allowed and no enforcement agency has been taking action against them.
