| JMC Mayor visits vegetable Mandi parade | | |

Jammu, July 11: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta along with Deputy Mayor Advocate Purnima Sharma and Councilor of ward no.4 Madam Sunita Koul conducted a tour in the areas of Sabzi mandi Parade and met with the representatives of shopkeepers/Phari association of Sabzi Mandi. Mayor and Deputy Mayor held detail discussion with them regarding maintaining proper sanitation as well as providing other possible facilities /infrastructure to the shopkeepers. Mayor was apprised by the field staff of Health section that some shopkeepers of the Sabzi Mandi have stopped giving requisite user charges in lieu of sanitation provided to them. Due to which safaikaramcharies of the ward has also refused to perform their duties in the said area. Mayor told the representatives that Jammu Municipal Corporation on the guidelines of J&K Govt. has been charging user charges from all the residential as well as commercial establishments against proper Govt receipts and the sanitation staff is working with full dedication and Hard work in these Hot & Humid conditions to provide best possible Sanitation to the citizens of Jammu. |
