JAMMU, July 11: Covid-19 sampling camp continued here at Ware House, Nehru Market on Saturday. Samples of more than 20 people were taken for Covid-19 test including Truck & Load carrier drivers.
Special camp was organized by Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market with the help of the Health Department. Special camp organized under the supervision of Deepak Gupta, General Secretary of Federation.
The camp was started on Monday and till Saturday, more than 300 samples taken from this wholesale mandi. According to Deepak Gupta, administration assured them that the camp will continue in next week also to cover the all drivers & workers.
Gupta said that a large number of Truck and Load carrier drivers from different parts of Jammu comes to the market daily. We took this matter with the administration and thankful to Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Verma and Deputy Commissioner Sushma Chouhan, who listened to us and took immediate steps to take Covid-19 sampling in Mandi, he said. So, far more than 300 people checked for Covid-19, he added. |
