One Day Online Quiz Competition organized by GDC R S PURA

Jammu, July 23: One Day Online Quiz Competition on Topic Quantum Optics, Electronics and Crystallography was conducted today at G D C R S Pura under the guidance and dynamic leadership of Principal Dr Sunita Sudan from 10:00AM TO 5:00PM. Quiz contest remained open till 5:00PM. As many as 447 responses from students of more than thirty Government Degree colleges PG Colleges & various Private Degree Colleges across the J&K UT participated in the event.
Nearly Sixty Nine students other than Government and Private degree colleges /PG Colleges of J&K UT participated in the quiz. It includes students from prominent colleges of other states and universities like Banaras Hindu University (BHU)-Varanassi.
Students of Colleges, Outside J&K UT, who participated in one day online quiz contest were from MGKVP College-Varanassi, Deen Dayal Upadaya College–UP, Udai Pratap College-UP, TD Post Graduate College, Dr Ghanshyam PG College etc..
Students of Cluster University-GGM Science College Jammu, GCW Gandhi Nagar, MAM PG College , SMVDU Kakryal, GCW Parade (Autonomous College), Government Degree College – Kunjwani(Sainik Colony), R S Pura, Udhampur(Boys), Akhnoor, Samba, Hiranagar, Ramnagar, Ramban, Udhampur(Girls), Poonch, Sopore, Anantnag, Paloura, Mishriwalla, Kathua, Kishtwar, Mendhar, Surankot….etc.. also participated in the contest. Students from Dogra College, GCET Jammu, PP Science College, Punjab Engineering College, TD Post Graduate College too participated in One Day Online Quiz Contest of Physics which was designed for the students of B SC Semester VI and opened for all category of students interested in Quantum Optics, Electronics and Crystallography and desirous of evaluating their potential and retentivity.
Students scoring 50% and above marks were awarded the certificate of appreciation electronically by HOD Physics-Dr Jaipal Singh(Quiz Convener) duly endorsed by worthy Principal Dr Sunita Sudan. Dr Chetan Sharma was the Organizing Secretary. He Prepared the Quiz under the guidance of Dr Jaipal Singh.
Dr Jaipal Singh- HoD Physics (Convener Quiz) extended heartfelt thanks on behalf of Department of Physics (Dr Ajay Singh Dadwal, Dr Balwinder Kour and Dr Chetan Sharma (Quiz Secretary) to Worthy Principal Dr Sunita Sudan for her full support and co-operation to make this quiz friendly to the students for their maximum participation.
Principal Dr Sunita Sudan appreciated the efforts of HOD physics in making the Online Quiz a gigantic success and for bridging the gap/distance among the students and College. She emphasized to continue this type of quiz more frequently in the larger interest of students who are really worst sufferer of this pandemic COVID 19.
