| Mayor kick starts various developments works in Ward No 61 | | |

JAMMU, Nov 9: Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta along with Mohinder Kumar Councilor of Ward No 61 today conducted an extensive tour in the various localities of the Ward No 61 and kick started construction work of lanes & drains in Gali No 9 Laxmi Vihar and Karni Mohalla Tommal of the ward. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor said that it was the long pending demands of the residents of the localities which now have been fulfilled by the sincere efforts of Sh. Mohinder Kumar concerned councilor of the ward.
Later, Mayor along with the Councilor also inaugurated the black topping work of road near Nirankari Bhawan Tommal and said that there were lot of potholes on this road and the black topping was lying pending since long which has now been started by public works department Narinder Gupta, Anju Gupta and other prominent inhabitants of the locality as well as Sham Sareen Assistant Executive Engineer PWD as well as field staff of JMC and concerned contractor were also present there.
Mayor directed Councilors and Engineering Wing of JMC to give top priority to the construction of lanes / drains which are totally kacha ones as people residing there have been deprived from basic amenities and try to renovate the already constructed lanes / drains. |
