ICSI signs MoUs for Academic Collaboration with Higher Education Department, niversity of Jammu

JAMMU, Dec 30: 30December 2020.The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, having taken cognizance of education as one of the most crucial indices of socio-economic development of Jammu & Kashmir, introduced various constructive steps for the youth of the region to groom them professionally and improve their employability.
The Institute of Company Secretariesof India signed aMemorandum of Understanding with Higher Education Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and University of Jammu under the ICSI Academic Collaborations initiative.
The objective of the MOUs is to bring together the efforts of the two institutes for imparting knowledge and honing the skills of students, academicians and professionals of both the Institutes.
Emphasising on the need for such collaborations, CS Ashish Garg, President ICSI, said "These MoU would enable members of ICSI working in companies to deliver practical session on Corporate Governance , Crisis Management in Corporate and Career Awareness. Talat Parvez Rohella (KAS), Commissioner / Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, UT of J & K said that this MoU will not only help in developing the skills but will also build character of the students.
Prof. Mohammad Yousaf Peerzada, Director Colleges, Higher Education Departmentappreciated ICSI for taking up this initiative that will benefit the students and members / faculty members.
Prof.Ranjeet Singh Jamwal and Dr.Ravinder Kumar Tickoo, Principal, GGM Science College, Jammualso graced the occasion and congratulated both the Institutes for this Academic Collaboration.
CS Suresh Pandey, Chairman, ICSI-NIRC, CS Palak Arora, Chairperson-ICSI- Jammu Chapter and other delegates along with participants attended the MoU signing ceremony.
