Ghulam Hassan Mir welcomes new entrants into party-fold
Five Panchs from Block Siriwarpora join Apni Party

SRINAGAR, Dec 30: Five Panchayat representatives from Block Siriwarpora, Tangmarag district Baramulla alongwith their associates on Wednesday joined Apni Party at its Party office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
These five Panchs include Abdul Khaliq Dar, Riyaz Ahmad Lone, Farooq Ahmad Malik, Shamim Ahmad Dar and Mrs. Shakeela Begum.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of the Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Party senior leader Mohammad Dilawar Mir, media advisor Farooq Andrabi, Provincial Secretary Nazir Ahmad Dailgami, youth leader Mir Imaad Rafi and Muzaffar Reshi.
Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Party senior vice president observed that the people of J&K are in dire need of a popular government.
“People in entire J&K especially in Kashmir are suffering because of winter vagaries and the administration seems in slumber,” Mir remarked, while highlighting the frequent power cuts and delayed restoration of electricity transformers at many places in the valley.
Mir stressed on the divisional administration of Kashmir to take stock of power scenario and the requirement of essential commodities so as to ease out the sufferings of people in Kashmir valley.
The event was also addressed by general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir and Party senior leader and former minister Mohammad Dilawar Mir.
The newly joined Panchayat representatives stated that the developmental agenda of the Party motivated them to join the Apni Party. They pledged to work tirelessly for addressing the sufferings of people besides strengthening the Party at grassroots level.
