Sat asks Jal Shakti Deptt to provide clean drinking water to public

JAMMU, Feb 12: Former State President BJP and ex-Minister Sat Sharma conducted an extensive tour of Vishal Nagar area of Jammu West Assembly segment where people are facing the problem of contaminated drinking water.
The former MLA held discussions with inhabitants of the area who are facing these problems from quite some time. Sharma was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, District General Secretary Rajesh Gupta, Corporators Ward 40 & 32 Neelam Nargotra and Sat Pal Karlupia and many others including Jal Shakti Department officials, local residents and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the inhabitants are facing a severe problem in their area from some time and the drinking water supply in Vishal Nagar is not of good quality and the concerned department has been asked to solve the problems of the people at the earliest. He assured that within a stipulated time frame, new pipes will be installed in the area so that the problem persisting in the area could be solved.
Munish Khajuria and Keshav Chopra stated that such problems can cause problems for the inhabitants in coming times and they stated that with the help of Former MLA, the problem will be solved with the help of concerned departments.
Neelam and Karlupia thanked the Former MLA for conducting an extensive tour of the area which lies between Wards 32 & 40. They said that BJP is committed to solve their problems and it will be seen that such types of problems do not persist in future.
District Social Media Incharge Satyabhushan Dubey, Rajesh Saini, Vijas Singh Lovely and others were also present.
