After PDP, rebellion may hit Sajad Lone's Peoples Conference
Anger against surrendering to seats to PAGD in DDC polls still simmering within party ranks

Early Times Report
jammu, Feb 27: After the rebellion has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wrecked to the core, mutiny within the ranks of Sajad Lone's Peoples Conference seems to be in the offing with the former separatist leader in a fix over how to keep his flock together and the party intact.
Sources privy to this development told Early Times that there is mounting disgruntlement looming large within the Peoples Conference and there are fears that the party may split and the rebellious voices may join some other forum in order to register their protest against the decision taken earlier unanimously by the leader of the party. The greater resentment is coming in the form of surrendering of the seats during DDC elections to the PAGD candidates and how the National Conference played the ball with the party and fielded proxy candidates in order to defeat the Peoples Conference candidates who were contesting as the PAGD candidates. It was after the mounting rebellion within the party that Sajad Lone was compelled to distance PC from the PAGD and pacify the ruffled mood of his colleagues.
However, reports are coming to fore that the differences instead of witnessing any end are only widening with each passing day and some of the party leaders have already hinted at leaving the party and joining some other outfit in north Kashmir. It is meanwhile going to be interesting situation to watch over how the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir will witness another major change.
Pertinent to mention that on November 22, 2018, when the political parties in Kashmir valley-NC and Congress declared support to the PDP to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir, it was Sajad alone who fought against the move, strived to thwart it and claimed the support of enough MLAs to form the government of his own.
