| CWA raises issue of forming price fixation | | |

JAMMU, July 7: Team consumer welfare association Jammu led by its President Chander Parkash Dharmat alongwith J.K. Khajuria calls on Director CAPD with in short notice of time.
President CWA introduced his organisation to director that CWA is a registered NGO since 1987 under the consumer protection act. CWA is team of retired Sr. retired officers from different government organizations and well reputed businessmen.
We would like to have planned meeting in future. President CWA raised the issue of forming price fixation committee and have regular market survey jointly alongwith CWA team and LM department and Fix the rates of eatable items like milk products, mutton& meet , fruits and vegetables, cereals & medicine and rates of pathlabs as it was previously practice.
Secondly, the senior citizens are shuttling for issuance of Ayushman health cards under one nation one ration card and issues pertaining to seeding adhaar card number in respective ration card . The CWA also demanded that CAPD should appoint some nodal officer to ease this process.
The CAPD director listen the grievance of CWA carefully and assured the visitors that he will readdress the problems at the earliest and will calls the meeting of all stockholders.
Conclusion of the meeting Gen. Secy. CWA Jammu presented vote of thanks as Director CAPD spares his time for meeting in the interest of general public besides his busy schedules.
Later the visitors of CWA have virtual meeting with other members of association and narrated the full details of meeting and discussed further line of action. |
