Delimitation Comm to begin Jammu div visit today; to meet DEOs, pol leaders

Jammu, July 7: After wrapping up two-day visit to Kashmir valley, the Delimitation Commission will begin two-day visit to Jammu Division from Thursday.
The four day visit of Delimitation Commission on Jammu and Kashmir started on July 6.
An official here said the Commission members will meet political leaders and District Electoral Officers during the visit.
On Thursday, the Commission will arrive at Kishtwar and meet with DEOs of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban between 1100 hours to 1230 hours at PWD Guest House, Kishtwar.
On July 9, they will meet with DEOs of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri and Poonch between 0930 hours to 1030 hours at Radisson Blu, Jammu.
Leaders of different political parties barring People’s Democratic Party, will also meet them.
In Kashmir, the political parties in one voice have demanded restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and Pre August 5, 2019 situation before holding assembly elections.
