Jammu, Oct 23: Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Lone has said that the Government of India should replicate the J&K governance system in other places also by sending outsiders to run the administration. In an interview to news agency, Lone said, “If this is such a wonderful model that you send a Governor from outside to run a place and they work well then replicate in other parts of the country also, why only Jammu and Kashmir. Are we not a part of India?”
He said, “I am not worried about the enemy. I am worried about our own defences, own administration.
The person who is running J&K today has no stakes in the future. His children won’t have to face J&K tomorrow but our children have to stay here. We the people of J&K are not in control and outsiders are controlling it. The bureaucrats who are calling the shots today will get transferred after two years and go from here.” |
