From peon to top babu no one listens to us: BJP leaders need to tell Amit Shah

Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah would be meeting the local leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu to get a feedback from them about the ground situation.
A politician while talking to Early Times said, “It’s a golden opportunity for the local BJP leaders to convey to the Home Minister that from peon to top bureaucrats no one is listening to them due to which they are unable to face the people.”
He said, “The BJP leaders should convey to the visiting dignitary the issues confronting them and tell him that if the helmsmen keep on ignoring them it can have far reaching consequences for them in the upcoming elections. It’s a chance for them to speak their heart out.”
The politician said that the people of Jammu are “fed up” with the anti-people policies of the helmsmen. “During the past two years the J&K administration has taken many such decisions that have directly hurt the interests of the Jammu people. The leaders who were elected by the people are helpless as no one wants to listen to them. Bureaucrats seem least interested in listening to them.”
He said that if the BJP leaders keep on facing the snub from the helmsmen it won’t be easy for the party to make a comeback in the forthcoming assembly elections. “It’s high time for BJP leaders to come forward and speak. Appeasing bureaucrats won’t help their cause and it would sink their ship,” the politician added.
