11/14/2021 10:31:32 PM
Early Times Report

Udhampur, Nov 14: A person was caught by the people of the locality while trying to burn the entrance gate no 5 of Ward No 1 of Subhash Nagar udhampur at 11 o'clock in the night, which was then handed over to the police. Giving information about this in the morning, Priti Khajuria also said that she got a call late in the night and informed that someone was spraying petrol by climbing at the entrance gate with a bottle of petrol, and people caught him Red handed then Priti khajuria informed about this to sho udhampur and the police reached the spot and took the person along.
Priti Khajuria told that even two months back someone had put black ink on the photo at this entrance and even that time a complaint was also lodged with the police and tonight once again an attempt was made to burn this entrance gate with petrol. If the culprit was caught last time, then perhaps no one else would try to do such a wrong thing for the second time, but due to the ignorant attitude of the police, again an attempt was made to damage the government property. Priti Khajuria said that such persons should be behind the bars and given the harshest punishment who tries to damage any kind of government property. At the same time, Priti Khajuria also said that on one hand the government talks about women empowerment and on the other hand if a woman goes ahead and wants to do some development works for society and few people of society stop her to do such works then how can she come forward for her contribution for society .she has no social security. Somewhere it puts a question mark on the government, will an educated woman want to contribute to the development works for the society? Is our society still male dominated where a woman will not be allowed to come forward
