JAMMU, Feb 2: Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Jammu today felicitated Educators from Jammu those represented India in the 21st Global Youth Leadership Sumit-2021 held at Kathmandu, Nepal. The delegates participated from Jammu in the Global Youth Leadership Sumit were Ritesh Kapoor- Chief Editor, Daily The Excel Express, Vice President All Jammu Newspaper Editors Association, State Headquarter Commissioner (Rouver), J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides, Chairman AJKTA, Director -Principal ASN Hr.Sec. School, Director Mount Litera Sr. Sec. School; Er. Naresh Kumar- Chairman Learning Temple High School, Gen Secy. JKPSA, Dr. Atul Hans- Author, Director Principal IDRS, Sumit Kumar Verma- Director Sacred Heart Public School, Sandeepan Gupta- Sr. Lecturer Govt SRML, Model School, Jammu, Dheeraj Bharti- M.D. The Pillars Institute, Dr. Rachna Sharma- Educationist and NCC officer, APS Jammu, Amit Choudhary- Manager, Sacred Heart Public School. The 40 countries participating in the Summit were India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar, South Africa, USA, UK, Iraq, Gambia, Norway, Kurdistan, Republic of Korsova, Istanbul, Veninsula and others. 21 delegates representing India were are from 6 different cities where 8 delegates from Jammu, 8 from Mumbai, One from Uttar Pradesh, One from Gujarat, Two from New Delhi and One from Chandigarh.
Ritesh Kapoor, Chief Editor-Daily The Excel Express, Jammu briefed the Dy Mayor that during the summit, the entire delegation was felicitated with the Global Youth Leadership Award-2021 through the benign hands of the honorable Vice President of Nepal, Nand Bahadur Pun at National Assembly Hall on the occasion of Global Youth Leadership Summit-2021 organised by Global Youth Parliament. The Summit was organised from 18th to 21st November, 2021 at Convention Hall of Hotel Radisson, Kathmnadu, Nepal where 104 delegates from 40 different countries participated. Ritesh added that Inclusion is a buzzword and the danger to buzzwords is that the true meaning gets lost and people use it solely to impress others.
Advocate Purnima Sharma during her address congratulated the delegation for representing the Jammu & Kashmir and the nation at large. She said the global learning will definitely boost the educators and such explorations and exchange of ideas are the need of the hour when children are becoming technically strong and needs to be given open platform for their skills improvement too. She added that such felicitations will encourage our educators and the government needs to encourage them for their better performances too.
