| Govt employee takes salary, regular PhD degree during same time | | Fooled Jammu University, Social Welfare Department | | rajesh tandon

JAMMU, Mar 4: Although union government is claiming transparent administrative system but these claims proves bottomless in Jammu and Kashmir when a government employee fooled Social Welfare Department and Home Science Department of Jammu University. According to the sources Doda Deputy Commissioner Doda appointed an employee vide his order number 472-76/PA-Gen/ADC/D/2019 dated 26/07/2019 appointed some employees for the post of District Coordinator Mahila Shakti Kendra Social Welfare Department Doda one of them is pursuing her PhD in Home Science Department of Jammu University. Advocate Ashfaq Lone in this regard has said that the said employee has niether deregister the degree before joining of job notlr informed social welfare department about her PhD. He has lodged a written complaint before Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on 25th of January 2022 where advisor Farooq Khan has directed to secretary Social Welfare Department for inquiry of the matter and necessary action. He further has said that a complaint into this regard has also been registered in vigilance organization and the organization has started the investigation. However, the government should recovered the ammount for the period, suspend employee and cancelled her PhD. Into this regard, some experts told Early Times that similar actions should be taken against senior officers also who fooled the government especially Social Welfare Department and UGC. |
