Jammu, Mar 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Bank Patoli Domana branch has been functioning without adequate infrastructure and security arrangements resulting in account holders of the bank and other visitors have raised serious concern and raised question marks on the management.
Sources informed that despite the fact that before hiring a building on rent basis for a bank, it is mandatory to get the map of that building passed from competent authority but in this case no such formality was fulfilled which is a serious violation of laws.
Bank has been running under an incomplete building, which has no proper infrastructure as there are no proper seating arrangements for account holders and for other people who visit the bank for some work.
It was also observed that there was no fan, AC fitted in the bank and the entire building was not closed one as only plastic sheets were hung in the entrance and there were window grills but no window which created high risk from a security point of view.
Although in every bank it is generally seen that there are very strong security systems and adequate facilities for visitors, which protect it from any untoward incident, especially sliding grills are fixed which allow only one person at a time, which is missing in this branch. The account holders have raised the question mark on the bank management for functioning it in an incomplete building.
Shockingly there is another problem of the washroom, toilet which is located in some usual location of the building and lying incomplete, which again causes inconvenience to the visitors.
The account holders alleged that they deposit their hard earned money but in the name of facility they get nothing. |
