| Samba residents hold protest against Municipal Council Samba while demanding drains in area | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 11: Residents of Samba town have raised a banner of revolt against the Municipal Council, Samba against the lack of drainage system in their area especially in ward number 11.
Common masses especially the school going children are the worst sufferers in this regard.
The residents of ward number 11 have alleged that due to the accumulation of drain water in the lanes and by-lanes they are up against many challenges.
They said that the drain water has got accumulated outside their houses and in some cases it has seeped inside the premises of the different houses.
The residents while raising slogans against the Municipal Council, Samba said that the school going children and the patients are the worst sufferers in the whole scenario.
They demanded construction of drains in the ward and said that the problems can end only when the drains are constructed. |
