MENDHAR, Mar 11 As government is claiming transparent administrative system under the LG administration of Jammu and Kashmir, but these claims and slogans are like hollow vestl as all is not well in block Mendhar of border district Poonch. According to the sources, “Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Mendhar has misused the amount of a work pacca P/work near house of Lovely to Mandir”. Informing Early Times, locals of Dhachal, Gohlad in Mendhar block have said that some people are looting the department with both the hands, they’ve no caressed of religious place or any other. Irony is that one persons has withdrawn the whole amount of five persons from bank which raised many questions on bank authorities too. Complainants of the villagers have said that, they have approached to Block Development Officer Mendhar last month, who saught the report from Panchayat secretary but no report has been given by secretary Panchayat right now. Locals have said that department is withdrawing the amount to some blue eyed persons and are not taking work properly. They have appealed to Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Director RDD and Panchayati Raj Jammu to intervene into the matter and take strict action against involved officials after thorough investigation. When connected to Panchayat secretary in this regard he was have no satisfactory response in this regard. |
