| AAP regularizes 35,000 daily wagers in Punjab, J&K leaders just give lollipops | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: Soon after taking over as the Chief Minister of Punjab, Aam Admi Party leader, Bhagwant Singh Mann, regularized 35,000 daily wagers.
While addressing people through televised addressed, he said, “During election campaign, many daily wagers used to tell us that they are temporary workers and sword is hanging on them. We had promised them that if we come to power we will regularize them.
We have taken the decision to regularize them.”
Mann said, “I had promised people that I will make Punjab dharna mukth.”
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “The BJP could have taken the same decision in J&K but it didn’t make an attempt. They just exploited these daily wagers to seek votes. Similarly neither did the NC or PDP leaders ever think about regularizing these daily wagers. No political party thought about these daily wagers. They could have easily regularized these daily wagers.” |
