Jammu, Apr 6: Fire incident at Residency Road here due to short circuit has triggered resentment against the Power Development Department.
The fire victims while talking to Early Times said, “The PDD has messed up the entire system by overloading the entire system. Sometimes they install meters and sometimes they install fiber. This has led to short circuits taking place.”
They said, “We have suffered huge losses and the administration should compensate us.
Last month in a fire incident in the same area four people lost their lives. The PDD is playing with our lives and properties. Instead of turning Jammu into a Smart City, Jammu is being turned into a vulnerable place.”
Shopkeepers said that PDD needs to put its act together rather than putting the lives of denizens at stake. |
