The News Square’ web portal launched

JAMMU, Apr 18: In a first of its kind initiative in India, the inmates of Jagriti Old Age Home and Orphanage today jointly launched a new Digital Media House (News Web Portal)- ‘The News Square’ (TNS).
'The News Square' is headquartered in Jammu City, but the launching event was organized inside Jagriti Old Age Home Udhampur, where around 30 Senior Citizens and around 20 children jointly staying there launched it in a simple yet impressive ceremony.
The launching was done online with the click of a button by the senior citizens, for whom it was a new experience to launch a media house.
The inmates felt ecstatic and enthusiastic for getting a VVIP treatment. The inauguration of the news web portal through their hands made them proud.
'The News Square' is a Jammu and Kashmir based India’s Digital Media organization which had been set up in March 2022 and was formally launched today. 'The News Square' (TNS) is having a complete news website www.thenewssquare.com and is available on youtube channel, Facebook page, Instagram account and tweeter handle. It is also coming out with a newspaper soon.
'The News Square' will have a nationalistic approach which is completely wedded to the constitutional democracy of India. As mentioned in its tagline the TNS pledges to provide clean and transparent journalism based on research and facts.
Expressing in an easy yet powerful words will remain the main motto of 'The News Square'.
The Old Age Home management committee members, Jugal Kishore and Rattan thanked to 'The News Square' team for such a rarest of the rare initiatives of giving recognition to the senior citizens and children on such a big occasion.
Meanwhile, Sonu Kumar Rathore, owner and Deepak Khajuria, Managing Editor of 'The News Square' said that it was a pleasure for the TNS Team that these inmates became part of the launching of the media house. They added that normally VVIPs like bureaucrats, ministers or politicians do such launchings and inaugurations, but 'The News Square' wanted to do it in some different way, so chosen this place to launch the news web portal from the august hands of senior citizens.
