JAMMU, Apr 21: The mining mafia has virtually devastated the minerals of the Akhnoor area by resorting to illegal extraction of sand, rocks and other construction material from the water bodies of the area. The locals alleged that the same is going on under a nexus while demanding earliest end to the same.
The locals said that under a well knitted conspiracy the natural resources in the Akhnoor are plundered with the mining mafia having a level field area. They said the people at helm in the union territory are giving a free hand to these illegal players of the mafia and as such the natural resources are getting exhausted. |
