4/22/2022 12:12:07 AM

Early Times Report

Doda, Apr 21: Alleged lackadaisical attitude of the administration has left residents of Ward No. 16 in Doda town outraged. The failure of the Road and Building Department to construct a proper road to connect their area with the main town has left them exasperated. Residents while talking to a local news channel said, “For the past three years we have been making representations to get this link road repaired but no one has paid any heed towards our pleas.”
They said, “The dilapidated road in the middle of the town is a blot on the so-called development of Doda town. This is the condition of the road within the city. One can imagine the plight of the roads in the villages.’
Residents said, “If this road is repaired it will ease the traffic congestion in the town and would make life easier for the people. But the officials seem least interested in repairing this vital road stretch.”
