Early Times Report

Doda, Apr 21: Residents of Kothi-Jaghka area in this frontier district are up in arms against the administration for its failure to construct a road to connect their area with the mainland. Residents while talking to a local news channel said that whosoever has won elections from their area have failed to address the basic issue of providing a road to their village. “Politicians who were elected from our areas never made an attempt to connect our village with the mainland.”
They said, “We will not allow the politicians to enter our village to seek the votes. We will boycott the next elections. We will only vote for a party which will provide us with a road.
More than 1500 souls are suffering but the government seems least bothered.”
Residents said, “Our slogan is clear, no road, no vote.”
