Jammu, Jan 17: BJP District Jammu South Publicity Secretary Pradeep Sharma demanded a CBI inquiry into the settlement of Rohingya-Bangladeshis in Jammu, describing illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants as a security threat, a cause of demographic change, and linked to crime (theft, drugs, etc.). He demanded their deportation (expulsion), calling them ‘termites’ and making them part of the Jammu Bachao Andolan (Save Jammu Movement). Pradeep Sharma has asked the Omar Abdullah government to keep an eye on their activities and settle them in one place said that this issue is very sensitive in Jammu, as local people link it to national security. |
