TOP STORY OF THE DAY
To prove himself as "Chanakya' Ram Madhav gags Jammu, Ladakh's voice
Nationalist view point was sidelined only to form government with Kashmir centric parties
11/23/2018 11:34:24 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: Decision of Governor Satya Pal Malik to dissolve J&K Legislative Assembly was a severe setback to BJP's self-styled Chanikya on J&K Ram Madhav who was very desperate to form government through engineering defections from other parties. Credible sources said that instead to projecting interests of the people of Jammu and Ladakh, who were against forming any government in J&K with Kashmir centric party, Ram Madhav was desperate to prove that he was expert in stitching alliance so he had every possible effort to form government. Credible sources revealed that from the day one when Governor rule was imposed in J&K on June 19 this year, BJP's central leadership wanted to dissolve Assembly to stop any chance of Congress, NC and PDP to form grand alliance like UP to keep BJP out of the power but it was Ram Madhav who had been opposing dissolution of the Assembly. Although Ram Madhav had completely failed in J&K, he wanted to give a message to the BJP leadership that he was master in forming coalition government so he was creating hurdle in dissolvin...

A vote for BJP would be a vote for Sajad Lone
Jammu the unfortunate region
11/23/2018 11:34:09 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: The Governor of J&K SP Malik dissolved the assembly on November 21 and the Kashmir-based leaders of the so-called "Grand Alliance", including Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah and Ghulam Ahmad Mir all dismissed as murder of democracy the dissolution of the assembly. Their reaction was on expected lines. Hence, it is hardly necessary to report what these Kashmiri leaders did and said on November 21, 22 and 23 and what the Governor said to defend his decision taken as per the law on the subject on November 21 and 22. What is important for the people of Jammu province right now is the rise of a new situation under which their vote for the BJP would a vote for Sa...

Governor Malik saved Jammu, Ladakh from disaster
Dissolution of assembly
11/23/2018 11:33:56 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: The Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, SP Malik, saved the situation by acting wisely and quickly and also saved the people of Jammu and Ladakh from total exclusion by dissolving the assembly on November 21. Obviously, he did it on the advice of the Narendra Modi government at the centre. Had he not dissolved the assembly and allowed the newly-floated Grand Alliance consisting of Mehbooba Mufti's PDP, Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah's NC and Rahul Gandhi's Congress to form coalition government, the results would have not have been inspiring. The immediate fallout of formation of government led by the PDP with the Congress being part of it and the NC extending...

11/23/2018 11:33:13 PM
Early Times Report srinagar, Nov 23: In a blatant example of how the reservation kills the merit, a student of Psychology Department at Kashmir University who secured 16 points was dropped from the selection list while a reserved category candidate who secured just one point was selected. The cutoff mark for the selection was 17 points. "It has been shocking. It is completely injustice with open merit candidates who toil hard to qualify the test. 11/23/2018 11:32:24 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: Delay being done in disbursement of the salaries of about 40 thousand SSA teachers is yet another eye-opener about how pathetic was the mode of functioning of the previous dispensation in the state. The issue, as per the officials, has been entangled in entirety and has become the victim of the non-seriousness of the previous coalition of PDP and BJP. At present, the teachers across the state are crying foul as many months have passed and they have not received salary as per the 7th pay commission recommendations.
